Walton Wobble 10K, Walton, Stafford
Jake Oliver was once again the only Junior to run in this local hilly race, and as well as being the third Harrier back, finishing in 17th position and in a time of 44:11, came first in his age category. A big well done to Jake!
Saturday, 23rd February
Dirty Dozen 12 Trail Run, Cannock Chase
Harry Beckett ran with his Mum and Dad, in this event finishing in a commendable 48th position, and in a time of 1:08:33. By all accounts, this was not an easy race, with a muddy trench thrown in for good measure. A big well done to Harry for completing this difficult race!
School Event – Saturday, 2nd February
County Schools Cross Country Championships, Rodbaston
Jake Oliver represented his school in the inter-boys (year 10/11) 5.4K race, in what featured a high calibre of runners, but he still managed to finish in 16th place. Well done Jake!
As per the norm we’ve had a number of Juniors taking part in these events at various locations during the month – keep up the good work!

We had just three juniors making the journey down the M6 to run in this event, participating in the Under 17 Mens race, facing a very challenging field of some of the Midland’s best junior athletes, and on a course that offered hills, ditch crossings and plenty of mud.

There were 65 finishers in total.
A massive well done to Robbie, Ben and Jake for taking part in this event.
