This will be a FREE OF CHARGE club training run for Stafford Harriers members only (17 and over), and
still part of the Harriers Challenge.
The route is based on the infamous annual Trig race but just the first half, an ideal introduction & training run in preparation for the Milford Trig Race in January (see local races page for link)
i.e. starting & finishing at the rear of Sister Dora’s but only going as far as the bottom of kit bag hill and back.
Approx 9-10 miles in total (depending upon the route taken)
As with the Trig, we start at the back of Sister Dora’s (SJ 975 210) and you can take any route you choose but you must visit the Trig/checkpoints
Rifle Range Trig Point (SJ 993 180)
Bottom of kit bag hill (SK 022 150)
Glacial Boulder Trig Point (SJ 980 181)
You must have suitable footwear, a waterproof jacket, whistle, compass, map & drink.
If you don’t have a map (OS Explorer map244) please print a copy from here
This is free to attend but we request that you register for the session in advance, no later than Friday 26th Novem, so that we can prepare for the day.
