3rd SHOWGROUND RELAYS (UKA Race license tbc)

NUMBERS AND CHIPS TO BE COLLECTED ON THE NIGHT.
We regret that ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THE NIGHT.
The course is an accurate 2 miles of tarmac drives and solid woodland pathways. Teams consist of 4 competitors representing Running or Athletic clubs, groups of friends, work colleagues, family, other sporting clubs and shops.
- Prizes will be awarded to each member of the winning teams in each category
- Trophy – fastest Male and Female. Medals for ALL FINISHERS.
- Teams will need to arrive on the evening no later than 7.00pm.
- Ample car parking is available.
- There are no changing or showering facilities so please arrive ready to run.
- Refreshment onsite café & shop will be open for hot & cold food & drinks
- No minimum age but under 8’s should be accompanied as per UKA guidelines
Prizes are awarded to the winners in the following categories.

The course was measured on 19 May 17 by Rob Cope, a member of the association of UK Course Measurers and was certified accurate. He was accompanied by club member, Ian Hodkinson
Many runners use their GPS units to check the courses and although they are a useful guide they are not as accurate as an official measured course.

RACE START 7:30PM
Due to safety we will not parking within the Showground but using the car park on the other side of the main road. There is a underpass to take people safely to the race.
Car Park will open from 5:30pm
Clubs with tents etc there is no drop off point and so be prepared to carry your kit about 500 metres

The car park entrance is on the RIGHT JUST AFTER THE HOUSE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD.

Staffordshire County Showground
The Showground is situated on the A518 Stafford to Uttoxeter road some 4 miles from Stafford.
Drivers from either the North or South using the M6 motorway should exit at junction 14 and follow
the signs for the County Showground.
For Sat Nav users, use the postcode is ST18 0BD.
By car: Head east on A34. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A34, At the
roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Beaconside/A513, At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto
Weston Rd/A518, At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit and stay on A518 for a ¾ mile and the
car park will be on your left.
By train: The nearest mainline stations are Stafford
By bus: There are no bus service to the Show Ground
