Race Terrain:
The fun run is on tarmac or gravel – there are some places where mud can be washed onto the route.
The main race is a mix of trails and pathways, some are in woods and therefore can be muddy and wet.
It is at your discretion the type of footwear you choose.
Race times:
- Car Park will open at 5 pm
- Fun run (2 miles) starts 6:30pm
- 5 Mile Main Race: 7.15 pm

Fun Run £6 (+ 50p entry fee)
- A medal for all in the fun run & prizes for 1st/2nd/3rd U15 boys & U15 girls
- The fun run has no minimum age but under 8’s must be accompanied (on the run) as per UKA guidelines
- Race Limit = 100 runners
- Race numbers and timing chips are to be picked up at Registration on the night.

- The main run minimum age is 15 years old (on race day).
- A Special Commemorative Gift to all finishers of the main race.

STAFFS KNOT FIVE MILER.
The course was measured on 8 June 17 by Rob Cope, a member of the Association of UK Course Measurers and was certified accurate. He was accompanied by club member, Ian Hodkinson
Many runners use their GPS units to check the courses and although they are a useful guide they are not as accurate as an official measured course.

Due to a marshalling error, the race results cannot be relied upon for the purposes of prize-giving, course records, or the NSRRA league. Under the circumstances we have withdrawn most of the tables that we usually list for interest and have removed the rankings from the Finishers’ list.
The Fun Run had no such issues and the results for this can be seen below in full.
