As we start the new year, our thoughts turn to races, and we restart training for races.
To help you we have come up with a number of training runs to build up for the Stafford Half.
Details are still being worked out but we thought we should share the dates and distances
Sunday 13th February — 7-mile run — meet @ Cricket Club 9am for a 9:15 am start
Sunday 20th February — 9-mile run — meet @ Cricket Club 9am for a 9:15 am start
Sunday 6th March — practise half — meet @ Cricket Club 9am for a 9:15 am start
Sunday 20th March Stafford Half race day
As we get closer to each date we will share more information and booking for each event.
As with all our training events, each will be free to members (juniors need to get approval from the Junior coaches).
So time to start training. Remember a slow and progressive build-up is much better for you. Rest days are essential to allow you to recover and build strength. Please see our training sessions for next week and plan a slow and gradual build-up.
