Update 9th June:-
So far we only have 4 volunteers for marshalling & timekeeping. Due to the course, we do need more marshalls. Please help us put on the event.
We now have 30 people registered to run and a small reserve list is taking shape (email me if you want to be added), for those that have register if you can’t make it please let us know so we can let the reservists know as soon as possible.
Since the lock down in the earlier part of this year & the gradual roadmap for the lifting of restrictions, we haven’t been able to host our regular handicap.
The last time we managed was way back in December for the Xmas edition.
With the current roadmap and lifting of restrictions, we are delighted to announce the return of the ever popular harriers handicap on Thursday 17th June.
Our new Venue will be the same as the last two races (park at Marquis Drive, head towards the café, taking the path past the toilets towards the main parade ground clearing (allow 5mins from car park)
Meeting at 6.30pm for a 7pm start, handicaps will be allocated in advance providing us with a staggered start with slowest going first.
Prizes will be awarded based on first runners home.
Please respect social distancing & avoid forming large groups whilst waiting to start and at the end.
This will also be added to the Harriers Challenge (for those involved). Net times to be used for challenge points.
As always, it is free to enter the event, open to all members with our weekly session booking system is used to enable us to keep Track & Trace records.

Unfortunately, we aren’t encouraging spectators, so if you want to watch (or are injured) please volunteer to help Marshall.
