First held in 2016, this challenging ten–mile event, held in mid February is part of the North Staffs Road Runners Association annual calendar.
Run on scenic but quiet lanes, the undulating course is based around the small villages of Brereton and Longdon on the outskirts of Rugeley in rural Staffordshire, the event has a capacity of 350 runners which has sold out well in advance of the date in the past two years.
Entry will be online only but there will be a waiting list. If you have difficulty in getting online, please get in touch using the contacts on the Entry Central website.
The race finishes at the rear Race HQ where there are ample refreshments to suit the weather, which at that time of the year can not always be relied on to be too hot!
There is plenty of car parking on the day which is split between several car parks, a map of the car park locations can be found HERE, we would request that where possible people car share this not only helps the environment it also make our lives a little easier and less stressful. each car park will be marshalled and we request that you follow the marshals instructions as this helps with ensuring there are sufficient parking spaces.
NB: Some of the parking areas are a 5 minute walk to the HQ.
